Brian Wheeler E.V.A.

Born in Nantyglo, Brian has lived in the Nantyglo and Brynmawr area of Blaenau Gwent all his life.

Recently retired from lecturing in accountancy, Brian started painting in the summer of 1996.
He is predominantly a landscape artist who enjoys depicting the countryside in and around South  and West Wales.
Working in watercolour, acrylic and pastel Brian attempts to capture the elusive qualities of mood, atmosphere and light in his landscapes.
Brian has sold his works in a number of group and solo exhibitions in South Wales, including a very prestigious showing of his paintings to H.R.H The Prince of Wales in November 2006.

In recent years Brian has enjoyed growing demand for his paintings. Much of his work is owned by private patrons in Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, France, Ireland, England and, of course, Wales.

Brian is currently tutor in The Ebbw Fach Creative Club, an established group whose members meet on a weekly basis.
