Angela Jones  E.V.A.

Angela lives in Oakdale, near Blackwood with her husband and daughter. She has always enjoyed painting and shared her enthusiasm with her love of horses.
Angela took A level art at school and studied at Newport College of Art and Design.

She has had various occupations, including book illustrating, and she paints animal portraits on commission in her spare time.

Her daughter shares the same passion for horses and over several years Angela has supported her daughter with self-livery, competitive show jumping, and they enjoy riding together. All this has given Angela an intimate knowledge and understanding of the animal and this has proven invaluable in her art.

Painting in acrylic Angela combines both interests, enabling her to produce  detailed life-like images of her equine subjects.
